  • 2021: FORWARD TOGETHER

As a command team, improving the lives of Reserve Citizen Airmen has been our guiding principle. To that end, we laid out our three strategic priorities: prioritizing strategic depth and accelerating readiness, developing resilient leaders, and reforming the organization. As we move into 2021, we will continue to accelerate our actions to achieve our objectives, setting our strategic priorities up for long-term sustainment.

  • 2020: CERTAINTY IN UNCERTAIN TIMES

First, the boss and I want to thank you for all you have done throughout this historic year and what you will do in the coming year.
  • EVEN ON A BAD DAY ...

As I reflect on the past year serving as your command chief, I can’t help but to think about all of the challenges we have faced together. By far, this has been one of the most challenging periods of my military career. Through good days and bad, I’ve learned more about myself as a leader and as a person while gaining a greater appreciation for our global contribution. Most importantly, I’m captivated by the resiliency of our Reserve Citizen Airmen.

  • Ready to Respond ... to Any Scenario

The reason the Air Force Reserve exists is to provide manpower and capabilities to support and defend this nation. This mandate spans the entire spectrum of operations, so we must be prepared to respond to any potential scenario.
  • Readiness or Resilient Leaders... Which Takes Precedence?

Reserve Citizen Airman Family, Last year was a tough one for us, as we had to grapple with several natural disasters that limited our ability to train and equip, which had a direct impact on readiness.
  • OUR PLAN AHEAD

Heroes of the Air Force Reserve, I want to share our plan ahead for the Air Force Reserve as we help our country respond to and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. As you know, the president announced a national emergency on March 13, due to the Novel coronavirus. As your commander, I want you to know my commander’s intent going forward.
